Colorado

We spent the last week in Denver & celebrated Jan's 50th B-day! As always it was jam packed with fun.

Pioneer Village

We took the little boys to a little Pioneer Village.

We walked along the river to get to the Village & Andy loved taking pictures w/ all the animal statues.

Estes Park & Stanley Lake

Before the big B-day Bash, the girls went out on a little outing to Estes Park, which is home of the world renounced Stanley Hotel built by F.O. Stanley. It is absolutely beautiful and located in the mountains. The city is over 100 years old. I loved it!

This is the backside view of The Stanley. It is said to be haunted, so we went on a Ghost Stories tour.

Room 217- This is were Stephen King was inspired & wrote "The Shinning", he is said to have had all sorts of freaky experiences. I was brave enough to stand by the door. Jim Carrey himself, stayed in this room while they were filming "Dumb & Dumber". Apparently he only stayed 1 night & then asked to be moved---I guess something scared him.....

The Hotel was built on the mountains, so we got to go in the Underground Tunnel- It was pretty neat seeing the massive rocks the hotel literally lays on.

We got to see an original Stanley Steamer, invented by F.O. Stanley & his brother F.E. Stanley. It still amazes me how people 100 years ago, could ride on horse carriages to stay @ The Stanley, a car ride today takes about 30 min. uphill, back then it probably took a good 4-5 hours. Patience is a Virtue!

Quick Pose

Isn't the view incredible--The mountain scenery is beautiful.

Jan's B-day Bash

Gary put together a party for Jan's 50th B-day! They even had a Blues & Jazz band to set the perfect mood. We really had a great time! Tom of course was asked to play & once the band members heard him rock on his guitar, they would not let him off stage.

There were tons of little boys & girls & they had a blast running around the field & roasting marshmallows.

Happy B-day Jan!!

My good friend Yara came to the party w/her hubby. It was so great seeing her, she's been my friend since 3rd grade & it had been like 9 years since we'd seen eachother. the crazy thing is it felt like no time had passed & we were just as close as always.

Cute pictures, as always! I love Sean's eyes, they're so big and expressive! It was fun seeing pictures of Jeremy and Hailey's boys, we don't see them much. They definitely have a "Savage" look.
