"Floating down the River'

On Saturday we went tubing down the river in Provo Canyon. It was really fun & so totally peaceful. We enjoyed being outdoors and even saw some wild horses & a golden eagle less than 15 feet away.

Ellie & Laura posing for a quick picture before our big adventure...

Mike looking for Patty, she ended up floating ahead of him & was screaming at the top of her lungs. It was pretty hysterical-

I wasn't brave enough to take Andy down the river....so my dad did- & thank goodness!

Getting out of the super cold water was a challenge--- I needed a little help from my cousin.

My tia Lorena- always has the worst things happen to her- her floaty flipped over & she almost lost it to the current- it was really funny but a very scary moment for her- then she couldn't get back on & ended up running into some rocks. We were all cracking up- she ended up laughing too.

Can't wait to go again!

Temple Square

My cousins here visiting from Venezuela, so we've been doing a lot of sight seeing- & one of the obvious spots to go in Salt Lake is .... Temple Square. I always love going there- it's so beautiful & the spirit is so strong.

Andy posing after the movie about Joseph Smith- he was really inquisitive throughout the movie & asked tons of questions...

Mommy & her 2 boys- posing by the temple... were it all began 6 yrs. ago.

Andy & Sean

We had a great time- went to the Church Museum, ate at the Nauvoo Cafe which has the most delicious sandwiches & soups, saw the Joseph Smith movie, & walked around Temple Square.

Swimming

We went swimming at our new Pool last Saturday & had a great time- especially Sean, it was his 1st time ever & he was laughing & splashing water everywhere. It was really cute! The best part was that they were totally pooped out when we came home, so the boys went to bed early.... Yeah!!!

This was Andy after the pool, running up & down the hill- he's always so full of energy it amazes me....

Spontaneous Trip

On Thursday night @ about 9:30 pm, Tom & I decided to take a trip to Denver & see the fam. So within 30 minutes we had the bags packed, the kids in the car, & we were off on the road. We didn't tell Tom's parents we were coming, so @ about 7 am the next morning, Andy gave them the surprise. They were so happy to see us. We had a total blast & it was so peaceful. Jan & Gary have a great house on tons of land, in the outskirts of the city, but it feels so secluded even though it's only 20 min from Downtown.... It's just great, so whenever we need a little getaway- "Home away from Home"- we go there for a little visit.

Here's a few pics of our trip... enjoy!

We had a BBQ, Saturday night- the food was super yummy!

Sean loved this little rocking chair, just his size. You gotta love that smile!

Telling ghost stories by the fire

Sean can sleep anywhere...

Andy loves to play with water, so he had fun getting wet & conveniently helped do a little yard work watering the plants & trees.

Sean crawled for the 1st time on all fours while we were there. It's those dumb little things as a mom that make your day!

Thanks Gamma & Gampa- we had a great time!!! We love you guys!

We went out to eat on Wednesday to La Carreta (Peruvian Food) with Patty, Mike, Ellie, Chad, Bridgette, Ella, Owen, & Bridgette's Brother, his wife & there cute little Ashton. We had a great time and the food was absolutely delicious as always! I had "Jalea de Pescado"- which was just to die for & Tommy had his favorite- "Ceviche". It was fun to see everyone & enjoy a good meal together!

Our Wedding- July 19, 2002

Our 6th Anniversary

We had a great time celebratring our 6th Anniversary. It was fun to go back to where it all began- 6 years ago. We had dinner at The Roof, on the 10th floor of the Joseph Smith Building. The dinner was perfect & so delicious. It gave us a chance to look back at all the fun we've had together. Then, we walked Temple Square & remembered that magical day 6 yrs. ago when we were sealed for time and all eternity. We closed the night by whatching "A Journey to The Center of the Earth"- in 3D. Overall we had a great time!

Tommy & I have been so blessed and we are so happy together. Life isn't perfect but we've come a long way and I still can't believe it's been 6 years- It's flown by! Mostly we feel blessed to have our 2 little boys- Andy & Sean...they make us laugh everyday. It was nice though to have a day to ourselves w/ no kids (Thanks Ellie for watching the boys- I know they are a handful)! I love you Tommy-- thanks for making it such a special day!

Farewell Party....

We had a farewell Party on Friday, for our good friends Chad & Bridgette, who are leaving to Atlanta in less than a month. This is where Tom & Chad met as companions on their mission. We are really going to miss them, but will plan a trip to come out and visit soon.

Andy and Ella have been the best of friends... I told Andy that Ella was going to move to Atlanta and that it was very far away, that we would have to get on a plane to visit, he said, "OK, so can we go now?" He loves to play with Ella, what he doesn't know is that Bridgette & I have already planned their arranged marriage---he! he! he! ;)

I'm glad that we'll atleast be able to keep in touch with our blogs....
Love you guys. We'll miss you tons!
