We spent the last week in Denver & celebrated Jan's 50th B-day! As always it was jam packed with fun.
Pioneer Village
We took the little boys to a little Pioneer Village.
We walked along the river to get to the Village & Andy loved taking pictures w/ all the animal statues.
Sean petting a baby donkey...he was actually a little scared!
Grandma teaching Andy how to make a horseshoe in the olden days.
Sitting on a haystack.
This is a 100- 200 year old stove, I thought it was so neat!
Sean attempting to sew...he didn't get very far!
Chicken Coop----Sean was totally amazed!
Estes Park & Stanley Lake
Before the big B-day Bash, the girls went out on a little outing to Estes Park, which is home of the world renounced Stanley Hotel built by F.O. Stanley. It is absolutely beautiful and located in the mountains. The city is over 100 years old. I loved it!
This is the backside view of The Stanley. It is said to be haunted, so we went on a Ghost Stories tour.
Room 217- This is were Stephen King was inspired & wrote "The Shinning", he is said to have had all sorts of freaky experiences. I was brave enough to stand by the door. Jim Carrey himself, stayed in this room while they were filming "Dumb & Dumber". Apparently he only stayed 1 night & then asked to be moved---I guess something scared him.....
The Hotel was built on the mountains, so we got to go in the Underground Tunnel- It was pretty neat seeing the massive rocks the hotel literally lays on.
We got to see an original Stanley Steamer, invented by F.O. Stanley & his brother F.E. Stanley. It still amazes me how people 100 years ago, could ride on horse carriages to stay @ The Stanley, a car ride today takes about 30 min. uphill, back then it probably took a good 4-5 hours. Patience is a Virtue!
Quick Pose
Isn't the view incredible--The mountain scenery is beautiful.
Jan's B-day Bash
Gary put together a party for Jan's 50th B-day! They even had a Blues & Jazz band to set the perfect mood. We really had a great time! Tom of course was asked to play & once the band members heard him rock on his guitar, they would not let him off stage.
There were tons of little boys & girls & they had a blast running around the field & roasting marshmallows.
Happy B-day Jan!!
Tommy Rockin' Out!
Dancing the night away....
My good friend Yara came to the party w/her hubby. It was so great seeing her, she's been my friend since 3rd grade & it had been like 9 years since we'd seen eachother. the crazy thing is it felt like no time had passed & we were just as close as always.
Family Time
These are just a few cute pictures of the Savage Clan
Tommy w/his youngest nephew Jack who is 2.
5 Boys:
Hunter (7), Cole (5), Andy (4), Jack (2), & Sean (1)
We got to go on dates one night & Grandma & Grandpa were brave enough to watch all 5 little boys. Here they are intensely watching "The Bee Movie", I love there little faces.
Hunter & Sean hit it off....Hunter is so good with babies & Sean loved being with his big cousin.
This picture of Sean summarizes our whole trip!!!

Welcome to Miami
It's been 3 1/2 years since I've been back to Miami, & Tom had never been. We met up with family & friends, celebrated my 26th B-day, went to the Beach, attempted to meet Enrique Iglesias --;) & survived a Hurricane (Tropical Storm Fay that is). It was jam packed with adventure as always. The air was fresh and humid. We even managed to get a little tan.
My dad's little brother- Tio Carlos & his wife Diana w/ baby Sean who loved all the attention. We had dinner @ Tia Mayra's when we arrived Saturday night.
My Grandma Mercy.
Cohen clan- Tio Carlos, Tia Mayra (dad's little sister), Ab. Mercy, Me, Sean, & my dad & my aunts puppies.
Miami Beach
My best friend Ingrid & I having some Pina Coladas @ the beach & lookin good!

Mom, Ingrid, & Laura posing for a quick picture! hoping to get a little sun...
Sean made the funniest faces when he tasted the salty water- he thought it was gross, but loved splashing in the water!
Cute! Sean loved playing in the sand & found all sorts of buried treasures.

Bye- Bye South Beach!
Celabrating Laura's B-day @ Primo Giorgio's
We had a big BBQ at my dad's cousins house & celebrated my 26th B-day. He & his partner Ken live in a beautiful home in Biscayne. The backyard is breathtaking- lined with Palm trees, lush greenery & flowers.
