Daddy's Girl!

Ally is definitely a Daddy's girl. I love to see how much Tommy loves our kids... it melts my heart! He is so sweet & playful with each one of them!

 

 

2 week check-up!

It was Ally's 2-week check-up today! She is doing great! She's still a little jaundiced... but nothing to worry about, Ally didn't even need to be put on lights- Yeah!!! which is a total relief after having both Andy & Sean on lights when they were newborns. I can't wait till her skin color gets PINK again!

 

Here's her stats:

Weight: 8 lbs. 0.5 oz. = 50%

Height: 21 inches tall = 75%

Head: ???? (can't remember-ooops)

She's growing just fine!

Wee, wee, wee! & Spiderman

Sean is at such a fun age- I just want to eat him to pieces!!! Here's a little video I took of him the other night, he was jumping up & down yelling- "wee- wee- wee". It was really funny, I couldn't quite get it on video.... he seems to get very distracted once he sees there's a camera, but it's still cute.

Ally's 1st Week....

I had to add more pics of our little girl. She has been so fun to have at home & is doing so well. her brothers love her, & I'm having a blast doing the girl thing- dresses, bows, PINK, etc. I love my 3 little angels!!!

Sean's B-day gift!

Sean got a new baby sister for his B-day! What a precious little gift! Who would have thought that Ally & Sean would be exactly 2 years apart?

I started my contractions around 5:30 am, Monday Sept. 7th, Daddy was anxious to get me to the hospital! I was admitted right away (what a relief- after 2 visits to the hospital with false labor...).

Our little princess- Allison Nicole was born @ 2:50 pm on Labor Day- Sept. 7th, 2009.
7 lbs. 9 oz. & 20.5 inches tall!

Sean turns 2!!!!!!

We had a Super-Hero party to celebrate Sean's 2nd B-day w/family. I didn't know when I would be going into labor so we decided to keep it small and celebrated his B-day with a family dinner, cake, ice-cream and other yummies!

Yeah!!! a tricycle- now I can be like big brother! He loved it & wanted to take it out for a spin right away!

 

Sean loved all the Super Hero decorations- he kept pointing & saying- "Spiderman, Ironman, Batman". It was really cute- I loved seeing the smile on his face! I can't belive my baby is 2!!!!

Kindergarten!

Today was Andy's 1st day of Kindergarten! I can't believe my baby is so grown up.

The most exciting part of it all is that he got accepted into "Early Light Academy" a brand new Charter School here in Daybreak. I love love love Charter Schools- they teach kids from the start to be leaders & to use their creativity, talents, & strengths to learn & develop their skills, in fact ELA's- learning foundation that they start kids on in Kindergarten is the "7 Habits of Highly Effective People"- by Stephen Covey. They use the K12 curriculum which develops each child's potential with engaging, individualized learning and they also teach kids foreign languages including Spanish, French, Chinese, German etc. I could go on & on....

I'm so excited that he got in... it wasn't easy there was a long waiting list, but oh so worth it- he's going to get so much more out of this education than a regular Public School!

 

 

 

Andy had a great 1st day- he said he made lots of new friends, but couldn't remember any of their names--- I can already tell its going to be a great & fun year for him!!!

What do boys do with Sidewalk chalk?

Andy had his little friend Oscar over to play, & they were getting bored so I thought- Sidewalk Chalk- that should do the trick. Well little did I know how much fun they would have & how messy they would get. I walked outside 5 min. later & this is what I found...

They took the chalk & wrote all over the sidewalk, then poured water on it...

 

& put it all over themselves....

 

Then they took their cute little hands & made marks all along the outside wall...

 

I couldn't help but laugh... They were having a ball, even Sean got into it & I figured- it's only chalk, easy to wash off- no problem! Let them be kids!

 

 

How could I be mad... look at those faces! Now if it was real paint... it would be a different story! That's for sure!

Happy 27th!

Last Monday, August 17th we celebrated my 27th B-day!!! Mom had a big BBQ for me with lots of friends & family. The food was to die for- Big juicy steaks, pork shish-ka-bobs, chicken, salad, rice, black beans, platanitos, cake, cheese cake, & more. It was really a great get-together! Everybody kept saying the food was so yummy- Ximena a good friend form Venezuela who is a professional cook, made most of the food & it really was to die for!

I love parties! I'm so grateful for 1 more year of life & hope for many many more- that I can spend with those I love!

Baby Shower- Aug. 15th, 2009

Thanks to Patty & Paola for throwing me a baby shower! The food was delicious, the decorations & favors were so cute & we had a really great time with so many of our family & friends! Here's a slide show of pics.
