Our Big Boy Andy's first day of 3rd grade was today... He said he was a little nervous and excited all at the same time! Don't blame him... Lots of new things all in one day!
He came home from school all excited!!! He loved his new class, new teacher and new and old friends!
I asked what the best part of being in 3rd grade was and this was his response....
"Mom, there's this girl and guess what her name is?"
Me, (hesitant, knowing where this was going....) "What is her name?"
Andy, with a twinkle in his eye, "Ally, her name is Ally and she is soooooo cute! And guess what mom...?"
I looked over and couldn't help but smile....
"I asked her if she wanted to be my friend and she said 'Yes'!!!"
Oh-oh my little boy is in puppy-love!
He continues- "and I asked her if she wanted to come play with me in the gym, but she couldn't today so I asked her if she could play tomorrow and she said yes!"
It's so funny all he talks about is Ally this and Ally that, and mom you need to become friends with Ally's mom & dad so she can come with us to Classic Fun Center....
Cute little boy from here on out, girls will dominate your little brain! He is so innocent and cute, warms my heart! He is such a lover-boy!
2nd funny thing that happened, I was helping him with his homework and his assignment was to fill a brown paper sac with 3 things that described him. He hurried outside, and in a flash said I'm done!
I looked at him confused, thinking that was fast, I wonder what he came up with. "What did you put in your bag?"
"Umm, (as he pulled the stuff out to show me) a sonic toy because I'm fast, a rock because I'm strong, and a flower because I'm sweet!"
Loved it!!! I couldn't have described him better myself! And so creative!
Love you our little Andy, you warm and melt our hearts! Still can't believe you are ours!!!
