christmas eve 2011 dinner

Papa Cohen was gone this year for Christmas
and without the official Holiday Cook,
we ended up having Christmas Eve dinner at our house.
It's a tradition at the Cohen's.
We get all dressed up and enjoy a Christmas feast.

my boys in their matching outfits, so cute!

The kids couldn't wait for Santa to come the next day....
to see all their presents. They were so excited!
They were so excited we let them open one gift from Grandma & Grandpa Savage.

I think mine was the best...
The card read--- drink, eat, and have money--

There was an apple cider bottle with about $75 taped all around it, a box of See's Candies chocolates, and; perfume, lotion, and other girly items. Thanks Jan, you are alwasy so creative with your gifts.

Christmas 2011

Christmas this year was amazing!

The tree and the presents..............................................................................................................................

Santa stayed up all night putting this together....

This is what some of our closest freinds and neighbors got as a Christmas treat from The Savage's

Eating them and making them has become
a family tradition in our home!

Chocolate covered pretzels, brownies, and chocolate chip cookies...
all made with the finest ingredients! and delicious

In cute little baggies....

ENJOY!

Dec 29, 2010

We visited Temple Square after Christmas this year. It was a pretty snowy, cold day but that didn't stop us from having a total blast!

Here's my favorite picture- our cute family!

Ally was all smiles at the Church History Museum and
pretty mischievous too.
Take a look at her in this pic. trying to be part of the exhibit, if she could sit still for a minute she might just fit in....

Seany loved going up the escalators, he felt like such a big boy going up all by himself, he was a little hesitant--- his expression says it all.

They loved climbing into the bunks and pretending they were traveling across the ocean to the Americas, like most of their ancestors did to North and South America decades agao....

Andy enjoyed learning about the prophet Joseph Smith and Jesus.
He wanted to show his daddy all the cool antique guns.

These boys truly love eachother.... makes me happy to know that they are such good buds!

Our 3 monkeys..... only one smile,
but hey these days I'm just happy to get a picture of the 3 of them together.

Once we were done looking around we decided to take a stroll on Temple Square
and look at the lights and the Nativity.

Here's Andy posing in front of the Nativity.
Seany loved splashing in the snow.
Mom and his boy

I love Temple Square,
there's just a very special feeling in the air.
I love my Savior and I am very grateful to live so close to places where his
Spirit can be felt so strongly and where we can learn about Him and come closer to Him.
Christmas would not be the same without the knowledge that He lives and that He is our redeemer!
