Where has the time gone......?

Five years ago today I was holding my 7 lb. 5 oz. baby boy, thinking this was the greatest miracle I had ever experienced in my life- becoming a mom! My Andy turns 5 today. I can't believe it! It went by so quickly....... It makes me a little emotional- seeing my baby grow up so fast! He'll be in Kindergarten next year- crazy.

Andy really brings so much joy to our family. He's so creative and imaginative- you never know what Super Heroe he's going to be the next--- it cracks me up! The other day he went to preschool and told his buddies and teacher that he was an alien- not a pretend one, but a "real alien".

He is a total boy. He loves to play, play, play and come up with all sorts of adventuress things to do like- riding his sled down our stairs and pretending he can climb walls like Spiderman or fly like Superman- yup that's right---- I almost have a heart attack daily! And then there's such a sweet side to him, that makes me melt. He is a total cuddle-bug.

He loves people and making new friends! All the kids on the block want to play with Andy, they come knocking on our door every day.

I'm so grateful for our Andy- and so happy to be his mom. I feel so blessed to have this beautiful child in my life that teaches me so many things- and makes me want to be the best I can be!

I love you my Andy- Happy 5th Birthday!

X-mas with The Savage's

We spent a few days in Denver over Christmas. The boys had a lot of fun playing with their cousins. It was pretty crazy with 5 little boys running around but oh so fun. Jan always makes it super special. She had so many gifts for each one of the kids- we are all soooooo spoiled!

Andy & Sean playing & showing off some new toys:

Andy, aka= The Hulk. My little Andy is so into super heroes and he loves costumes, so this was a big hit!

The 5 little boys waiting patiently to open one of their gifts: they were all very very excited!

Sean tearing into one of his.... look at his face, so concentrated.

Busy, busy....

I love this: all 3 concentrating on getting their gifts opened:

Tom, his dad Gary, and brother Jeremy got tickets to the Freedom Concert in San Diego, California. So they are having a guys trip in August- so fun! Tommy & I also got a mini X-mas tree decorated with $$$$$$- so creative and so perfect especially for our always necessary girls day out of shopping and fun!

The White Fence Farm

One of our outings was visiting the "white Fence Farm". We had a wonderful fried chicken meal- the best I've ever tasted and then took some time to see some of the farm animals and playgrounds:

Noche Buena '08

We spent Christmas Eve with my mom & dad! & had a very delicious meal and opened presents.

Tom & Sean enjoying a wonderful meal!

Abuelita Ana with 2 of her grandkids & 1 of her 3 great grandkids! She's 76 and is so healthy & active!

This was Andy's favorite present- Sean & Andy each got $50 from my Uncle Carlos & Aunt Evelyn that live in Miami. They are always so generous! The funny thing is my uncle made sure that Andy's $50 came in mostly 1 dollar bills..... it looked like so much money!

Sean having fun opening gifts- tearing wrapping paper- yippeeeee!
